Nophto Magazine is edited by members of a non-profit organisation that depicts conversations about photography and interconnected media.

Based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, we connect photographers of different ethnicities across geographical Romania, the historical region of Transylvania being a melting pot of different cultures. Through our magazine, zines, exhibitions, workshops, public programmes, limited-edition prints and an annual art residency for photography, we support artists and reach global audiences.

Established in 2024, we embrace differences and authentic voices and nurture creative thinking and personal projects. We consider ourselves humble gatherers of personal studio life stories and photography. One day, the Nophto magazine will become a digital visual dictionary about photography in the Balkans.
